CYBATHLON 2024
CYBATHLON, a non-profit project of ETH Zurich, acts as a platform that challenges teams from all over the world to develop assistive technologies suitable for everyday use with and for people with disabilities. Through CYBATHLON, ETH Zurich has demonstrated the importance of research and development to society. The competition comprises eight different disciplines, in which the participants with physical disabilities tackle various everyday tasks with their latest assistive technologies.
The next CYBATHLON Edition will take place from 25 to 27 October 2024.

About the team
Team ottobock.X3 is a joint initiative of Ottobock, ORTHO-TEAM and ETH Zurich’s Competence Centre for Rehabilitation Engineering and Science (RESC) – united by a shared passion for progress in the field of assistive technologies. Our joint mission is to help people with physical disabilities restore their independence by maintaining or regaining their freedom of movement. By participating in the Leg Prosthesis Race at CYBATHLON 2024, we are keen to showcase the performance of the commercially available prosthesis Ottobock Genium X3 – individually adapted to the pilot’s needs.
