Assistive Robot Records

People with severe motor impairments or missing of both upper limbs have limited autonomy when interacting with their physical environment. Tasks such as shopping for groceries independently, eating and drinking, personal hygiene, or dishwashing are just a few examples in which these people might depend on a care person. Assistance robots can accompany a user with limited motor control in daily life.

In this record race, the pilot must perform a drinking and an eating challenge at a table comprised by several single tasks in a row. In an alternative race, the pilot can try to eat and drink as much as possible in a given time of 5 min.
