Spinal Cord Injury & Artificial Intelligence Lab

Dr Diego Paez-Granados is the head of the Spinal Cord Injury Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) Lab at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Paraplegic Research in Nottwil.

The SCAI lab aims to improve outpatient health care for people living with a chronic Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) by focusing on wearable sensing technology and continuous monitoring. Therefore, the research group at SCAI Lab aims to identify various common functional disorders and diseases at an early stage by employing intelligent data collection and analysis of multimodal and heterogenous data.

The external page Swiss Paraplegic Foundation supports the establishment and operation of the SCAI lab for ten years.
